Senior Members

CIS is pleased and honored to cooperate in recognizing the excellence of its valued members, especially when they have performed for a long time at particularly high-quality levels in science, technology, education, or profession.

The first recognition is elevation to the IEEE Senior Member grade. More information about this level of membership and requisites is available at the IEEE Senior Members Program page.

To pro-actively assist in recognizing the excellence of its members CIS has established this sub-committee, which promotes searching for outstanding members who deserve elevation to the IEEE Senior Member grade and assists in preparing their nominations for submission to the IEEE.

Do you know any outstanding CIS member who is not yet a Senior Member? Do you feel that you are qualified for such a promotion? Please contact the Vice President for Members Activities or a member of the Senior Members Sub-Committee and let them know! They will be happy to actively cooperate in the nomination process.
